Daften Classic was conceived in 2015 by Brendon Tatman after frustrating (and expensive!) experiences buying parts for his daily driven 1972 Super Beetle from several different vendors who focus on making cars run just enough to make a weekend show.
Daften Classic came onto the scene with the perspective of the daily driver, where value and reliability are more valuable than flash. We are glad to help anyone with a show winning project car for those fun filled Sundays, but the parts we offer are ONLY parts we ourselves trust to work the other 6 days of every week!
Daften Classic was started to pick up where too many of the 'big guys' left off long ago, offering first hand service and technical help. We are an asset to the VW community and you'll find us at club events, meets, cruises, and more throughout the West Coast!
